Every once-in-a-while I find an irresistible Judith Leiber in a catalogue. This one was featured by Bergdorf Goodman. I usually only collect crystal covered Leiber's, but this one was so stunning, I had to own it!!! There are no crystals on the gold sculpted metal--what makes it so desirable is that it is in the shape of an unusual gift box. The razzle-dazzle of this bag is the silver crystal ribbon surround that ties in the center with a luxurious, silver crystal bow. The 12 inch gold, silk, tassel going down it's side identifies it as an authentic Judith Leiber creation. The gold top clasp is embedded with crystals and opens to a gold leather interior. Enclosed is a 40 inch gold chain which can be worn on your shoulder or hidden inside and worn as a clutch. It will even hold your cell phone!
