Multicolored Grouse Box, 1985

Judith Leiber had a wild imagination! This represents one of her outside the box pieces of work. The colors are wild. They are predominantly green, gold and pink with splashes of black, red, amber, silver and blue. Her black onyx eyes are circled in pink crystals, with a red crystal beak. She sits on a gold leather base with a gold leather interior. There is something surreal that makes it so desirable. Even the front gold oval catch is opened with an unusual side slide. Enclosed is a 40 inch gold chain.
