3 inches wide, 2.5 inches tall and 1 inch deep with a gold chain

This little treasure showed up at an antique show! It was so cute that I opened this gem and to my surprise there was a gold Judith Leiber plaque on a light blue leather lining. It is gold, heavily embossed with a tiny cord detail around it's edge. In the center of all this detail is an aqua gemstone surrounded by even more intricate detail.

What makes it irresistible is its heavy gold chain which sits just below the gemstone. It closes with a twisted gold snap clasp. It can be used as an oversized pillbox or as a container for tiny objects that could easily be misplaced or lost such as pins, keys, buttons, bobby pins or candies.

You'll figure it out! In my almost 50 years of collecting, I have never seen or will see a Judith Leiber so adorable as this. If you are looking for an outrageous drop to be worn on a chain around your neck, this is a rare jewel.
